Pattern weights are the perfect addition to the sewing room. Useful when quilting, dressmaking, making crafts, accessories, handmade sewing projects or even just a paper weight for your office.

Fabric weights are perfect for use on fabrics such as lawn and quilting cotton. They are also preferred on thick fabrics where pinning is near impossible, such as wool and mohair. They are very useful when working with slippery fabrics, such as silk, organza, and taffeta, helping to secure these fabrics in place when cutting, and knit fabrics as well.

Using pattern weights is so much faster that pinning, gently holding the pattern in place, without causing fabric to stretch, wrinkle, bulge, and otherwise not cut correctly. Pins put holes in your fabric, which on fine fabrics could be damaging to the fabric, rotary cutter or fabric scissors.

Each sewing weight is made of premium grade white carrara marble, a natural material with light gray veining and soft patterning. Each weight measures 2” high from top point to bottom point and 2.31” wide from left to right. Each weight weighs 2.25 ounces, and are scratch resistant.
